A central lever brake operates 2 x castors. When mobile the handle sits in front of the third tread to alert user that the step is not safe to ascend.

Flush Back Legs

Walk through back with chain

The flush back wheels modification straightens the rear legs from a 3 degree outward splay to 0. The platform slightly overhangs the legs and the wheels sit under the working platform, therefore eliminating any gap where the platform meets the level you are walking onto.
